Q: What does "hanging weight" mean?
A: Hanging weight refers to the weight of when the animal when it arrives at the butcher's shop. Hanging weight does not include the internal organs, head, hide, or legs. This is the weight before the meat is cut and wrapped.
Q: What do the Butcher Fees include?
A: Butcher Fees include the kill fee, aging, cutting and wrapping fees.
Q: Why is there a 3% Fee for paying via Credit Card or PayPal?
A: The 3% fee covers what we get charged by the payment processors.
Q: Can I pay with PayPal?
A: Yes! Find us on PayPal under the email address firstname.lastname@example.org .
Q: Can I pay with a credit card?
A: Yes! We can run a credit card over the phone or in person with our Square devices for a 3% fee.

A: Yes! Checks are simplest with no fee. Please note we require checks to clear before you can pick up your meat.
